QUIET WEDNESDAY

As we detailed in our outlook on Monday, a weak system will be sliding across Wyoming today. The impacts to Colorado will be minimal in general…mainly just some thick wave clouds during the day today, brief wind gusts, and a weak cold front around sunset this evening.

Expect highs warmer than yesterday, climbing into the upper 50’s to lower 60’s this afternoon. Following today’s cold front, tomorrow will be slightly cooler (lower 50’s), albeit sunnier.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK

Not much lurking in the immediate forecast for us right now. Temperatures will remain generally in the 50’s and 60’s through the weekend with dry conditions prevailing. This is warmer than average. We are seeing continued support for a potential cool-down or storm system in the Tuesday timeframe next week. GFS and ECMWF ensembles are both showing this quite well. Time will tell how this develops, however. Stay tuned.
