Monsoon moisture is making its annual retreat back into northwestern Mexico. When this happens, we look to the mid-latitude storm track to begin providing “weather” to Colorado again through the autumn season. This week in weather: September 5, 2017

The week ahead starts off feeling like autumn thanks to yesterday’s cold frontal passage. We are rather quiet for the most part with only a slight chance of storms late in the week as temperatures moderate back into the 80’s.
