We did indeed break our streak of days without measurable snowfall last Thursday. A relatively simple atmospheric setup provided for an easy forecast overall. We predicted generally 1-3″ across the Plains, with 2-5″ in the Foothills. Snowfall totals overlaid atop our forecast map are shown below.

Boulder received its first accumulation since November 7th…. 2.1 inches worth. 0.4 inches reported at DIA ended Denver’s 4th longest snow drought on record.
