Ben grew up in western Pennsylvania and holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in meteorology. He currently works on a programming language tailored for scientists at Harris Geospatial Solutions in Boulder.
Diurnal winds are those driven primarily by the daily rise and set of the sun. In the Denver Metro area, diurnal winds are generally westerly at night and easterly during the day. Diurnal winds are only detectable when "weather" is not present.
